After installing Live Messenger can I get rid (uninstall) previous Windows
Messenger? Stupid question but... If I remove previous Messenger am I not
going to cripple some hidden settings common, eventually, to both?
I want to be on safe side.

Greetings Marek,

Actually if you remove Windows Messenger, Remote Assistance, Whiteboard and Application
Sharing (they're under the Activities tab if you haven't noticed them) will no longer work.

If you don't use that functionality, feel free to remove Windows Messenger. Also, you can
always reinstall Windows Messenger late if you need these features at a later date.
