Hi, I installed the newest Windows Live Messenger beta but I am still not
able to use my Philips Windows Live Messenger VOIP Handset that I used
perfectly well for more than a year when Msft was teaming up with Verizon for
that VOIP-service. The partnership Msft+Verizon ended 1/sep/2008 and
customers were warned months at beforehand that 1/sep/2008 it would be over.
The good news was that there would be a new VOIP partner. I read Telefonica
(and others) have replaced Verizon as Msft's VOIP partner. When will Belgium
be serviced? I bought the Philips handset for VOIP calls through Windows
Live Messenger, an investment of 99 euro's. When I try to make a call
towards a landline I am getting currently "come back soon to make local, long
distance and international calls to landlines and mobile phones virtually
anywhere in the world! Well, currently "virtual" for sure. When will it
work again?
