LiveOne Care backup

I am trying to back up files on my computer using Windows LiveOne Care back
up facility. The problem is whenever LiveOne Care prompts me for a disk it
then rejects it saying there is data on the disk. The disks I am trying to
use are DVD+R Dual Layer and are brand new. I've tried formatting the disk
but it makes no difference.

The point of a complete system backup is to boot to the Recovery Options
from disk, and run the Backup Restore feature. Dual Layer disks are not
readable by that restore system.
