>LNK files corrupt

Hi all,I'm new to this forum and hope you can help.
All my shortcuts (lnk files) show the same target app! For example they
all show the outlook icon instead of the icon of the target app. f I
re-associate that lnk file they all change tothe same target, and of
course an adobe app can't open outlook and vice-versa. How do I
reassociate the .lnk file with the correct target app?
The only way to open a target is to go through the program files in my
computer.
HELP!!!
