How To Load .dlls on WinXP with SP2

Dumb question I'm sure, but somehow my WinXP OS can no
longer find an ATI Vision Tek Display Driver -- the result
is my PC only starts up in Safe Mode. I downloaded the
driver (ati2dvag.dll) to a floppy, but have no idea where
or how to properly install the driver to get my system to
boot properly once again. Any advice?

Note that I tried backing up to the last good known state
but that accomplished nothing. Now I am wrestling with a
MS dialogue box that asks me what program I'd like to use
to install this darned driver and I have no idea what the
heck to choose.

Just copy it to both the \system and \system32 folders. One of them is the
correct location.
