when I try to instal some old programs i get the message "
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and WINDOWS applications choose close to terminate the application."
i am running windows xp home on pentium 4 with loads of ram and etc. and
nothin else is obviously affected. My feeling is that ive deleted something
overzealously but i'm new at this and tend to delete anything McAfee tells me
to.
much gratitude for any help
