Locked attempt server login on 3 tries

Can we secure server (any version) login with 3 attempts like novel?

Hello joshua,

If you meant to lock the user account after 3 wrong logon tries, yes you
can. If the server is on a domain you have to configure the GPO on domain
level for account lockout policies.

Computer configuration, windows settings, security settings, account policies,
account lockout policy, in the right pane you can configure account lockout
threshold and if it should unlock automatic or not.
