Locking problems

Help,
My Vista Home Premium 32bit is having problems.
I just downloaded service pack 2. Don't know if that's the problem.
My computer keeps locking itself. it's not going to screensaver because
I don't have one set.
but after about a minute of no mouse activity, it locks.
how do I stop this?
is this a result of malware?

Hi,

Although you don't have a screensaver set, on that same dialog box is the
line enabled for 'on resume, display welcome'?

Otherwise, check the advanced power settings.
