Log-Off, and Switch Users

When I try to log off or switch users, the screen goes blank, but the
computer is still working with nothing on the screen.

Thanks for your interest. This is a full new system Asus AM2 mobo GeF6150 ,
64 X2 CPU, just out of the boxes.

New out of the box doesn't mean it comes shipped with the most recent device
drivers.
