I unfortunately disabled the vgasave driver in my Vista Installation. This
is a big no-no. I am currently running CMD from the Vista Installation DVD.
I would like to log on to my local machine and re-enable vgasave via a
command line execution or call a shell GUI to get to devmgmt.msc up. Right
now the Command window is titled "Administrator:X\windows\system32 - CMD.EXE
- CMD -CMD. I successfully started a few GUI based apps from here like
regedit but I don't know if it belongs to the local machine.
I would appreciate a link to a tutorial explaining what can and cannot be
done from the command line on the Installation DVD. And ummmm, please no
lectures on why I shouldn't disable vgasave. I already experienced the
consequences of doing this. I also read the warnings in other articles and
threads after the deed.
