Login data not remembered

With the latest version, WLM does not (unlike previous versions) remember my
login data. After each reboot of the computer, I have to enter my login name
and password again. Why is this? Is there something I can do about it?

Sorry about my ranting - a little research showed me Jonatahn Kay's Make
Messenger Remember, which solves the problem (see http://bit.ly/sZlZV).
