Hi,

Use Windows Mail (or another program of your choice) as a newsreader to
access the discussion groups, it's far simpler and less convoluted than the
web interface.

I access the MS groups from Windows Mail but am unable to sign in (for the
last month or so). Message says that I am unable to sign into MS Communities
from Windows Mail at the time and to try later. Have tried many times but am
still unable - I either get the message or the sign in continues to pop up.
Any suggestions?

Just turn the Community Features off in Windows Mail! This does not impair
your ability to post messages and receive replies. You do not need to be
signed in to post and reply to messages when using Windows Mail.

Go to Tools/Options/General Tab. Remove the check mark from the "Use
newsgroup message rating features" option. This will stop the pop ups and
reminders.
