login screen problem

after recent updates I get a hang up on the log in screen. not 1000% sure but
seems to happen when I switch user. I'm happily working away and need to get
to another account on same system, so I select log off from start menu, then
select switch user. It bounces me out to log in screen, where I'm able to
select the user account. password dialog box appears but no cursor and I'm
not able to type in the password. reboot clears it up for the time being but
this has happened on three separate occasions since this past weeks updates.

Yep I'm getting this as well. Sometimes it will switch other times it says my
computer is locked. Seems that it hangs when I try to restart and shut down
also.

Happening to me also. System also hangs when shutting down or restarting
