Login script not running, or some other issue....

Ok, this is for a Windows 7 install, but I thought I'd ask here as well.

We recently moved to a different domain, previous to that, OUR DC had
our login script and all worked well.

The login script is defined in our GPO and works well for everyone else
(running Windows XP), I'm the only one on Win7 and its not running for me.

Its a simple .vbs script. The odd thing is, when I save the file to my
desktop and run the .vbs locally, it runs fine, and maps the drives I
need, etc.

Still won't run when I start.

Any ideas???

This issue affects Vista too. From memory the issue is that the script runs
elevated ie as 'administrator', and hence doesn't appear in 'Computer'. If
you do a google search for the same issue with Vista, you'll probably come
up trumps for a solution; I think there may be a hotfix available for this
via Microsoft's website for Vista, so perhaps one will appear for Windows 7
in due course.

Jon,

Since each user is in the administrators group in the local box,
wouldn't then script still be running?

Yeah, sure the script will still run, but it runs with elevated, "run as
administrator" privileges, since it's a login GPO script; wherein I believe
lies the issue. Which is why it'd work when, say clicked from the desktop.
