Loging into profile

Since I have been using the live messenger 8.0 I have to repeatedly log back
into my user id when I try to open my msn page or hotmail. it seems totally
random in when it occurs. I use both Internet explorer and the messenger to
open sessions and sometimes it just does not remember me, or possibly thinks
I have logged out.

Is this a glitch or is there something I need to do differently?

Do you log in and out of multiple Passport accounts (on the web)? If so, what you're
describing is rather normal. You may want to close Messenger, then go into Internet Explorer
and completely remove your cookie store (can be found in Tools, Internet Options) as this can
fix many of these issues.
