After spending hours trying to figure out why my DiNovo Media Desktop does
not function as a bluetooth hub in Vista, I found out (on the Logitech site)
that: "MX 5000 and the diNovo Media Desktop will not operate in HCI mode in
Vista". That's it. No explanation or a clue as to whether this will be
possible in the future through driver updates. In XP I have used the DiNovo
to synchronize my mobile phone with Outlook. Now, after upgrading to Vista I
cannot do that anymore. It appears that the only option for me would be to
install an additional USB bluetooth hub. I only assume that would be possible
since the Logitech is working in HID mode (not HCI) and Vista does not even
see any bluetooth hub, but am not sure. I would appreciate any help or
suggestions. Thanks.
