How long have I been on the Internet, anyway?

You remember when the mouse hovered over the Internet icon by the clock
in the other operating systems, and you could instantly see how long
you've been idling away your life on the 'net. Is there a program or
method that will allow one to do the same with Vista?

Thank yew..!

Open the Network & Sharing Centre (right click the network icon in the
system tray), and click "Status" of your connection, will open a smaller
dialogue box (the one you're probably used to) and it will tell you how
long.

Other than that, your ISP would have such statistics....perhaps you have a
control panel type thing for your ISP account where you can change settings
(e.g. set up new email accounts etc). This would also have your
"connection" settings like how long you've been online, your last log-on
etc.

Dear Andrew

I belatedly discovered your solution, and would like to thank yo
deeply. You are very knowledgeable; when I tried to find solution
through Internet searches, others were griping about the same problem
and no one knew what to do

Again, much appreciation for taking the time to help
