Anyone know who composed the Longhorn startup sound?

I like this kind of music, and wondered who did it.

It was done by the 1970's prog-rocker, Robert Fripp.

I know that he did the sound for Vista, but I didn't know he did it
for Longhorn.
There is a sound of a woman in the Longhorn startup.

the sound is at: http://www.mediafire.com/?at92jj0jp4h

Oh, I didn't notice you typed Longhorn. I probably subconsciously read
Longhorn and Vista as the same thing. I only started using Vista at RC1, as
I thought it would be a waste of time beforehand, but still, I have heard
that startup sound before. It comes packaged with a finished version of the
leaked black version of the Royale theme for XP Media Center Edition 2005,
Royale Noir. Wow that sound is so awful, I had to immediately change it.

MS did not reveal the startup sound until release. It was a closely guarded
secret because MS wanted it fresh at launch. It is considered a branding
item.

Yeah, I know. The RC1 and RC2 and later pre-release builds, that I tried,
had no sounds at all, IIRC. I was here in this newsgroup at the time, if
you do not remember.
