Looking for calendar/event-reminder software for Vista

I have been looking for a calendar/event-reminder program that runs well
under Vista. I have been doing some seasrching, but so far I do not
recognize the name of the programs that have come up in my searches. I
was hoping that people out there could recommend something that works
well under Microsoft Vista Home Premium. I was hoping that I could find
something that could run whenever I boot my PC and check for today's
events and display a reminder if something was found.

Mozilla Sunbird is a good one that I use It can be found at 'Mozill
Sunbird®' (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/) and i
completely free

oh forgot to tell you, there is a portable version of sunbird also that can
run off a usb drive

Click the Start orb, type "Calendar" and press Enter. I've used Windows
Calendar without a problem since Vista was released.
