OK, here is what I need: a program where I can select what kind o
content on a site or a game is blocked, and when that 'filter software
(http://www.aobo-porn-filter.com) is set off, that the screen it give
you wont say something like "This website has been blocked" "Blocked b
'parental control' (http://www.MAC-SPY-SOFTWARE.COM)" etc. It shoul
look like the page was unable to load. Additionally, the program shoul
be able to start up on its own, and secretly.
n a nutshell, I want a completly secret filter. Thanks much

....and this relates to Vista, how?

Try Google or Bing, like the rest of the intelligent world.

I know of two options you can try. Whether they are "invisible" enough for you,
you will have to decide for yourself.

1) Use a free account with OpenDNS (see www.opendns.com). DNS is invisible to
the user but you will have to check what the default "site blocked" options are
like.

2) Learn to use the Windows HOSTS file for very selected content filter. It too
is invisible and if it blocks a site - you simply get a "page not found"
message. Learn more about this here:-

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Hope this helps.

We use Dan's Guardian for content filtering at the local library.

Change the access control tables in the router... Easiest way possible,
parental controls of the OS, browser settings, A/V settings etc...
