LOOOOONG dowload time for SP2

Is it just me, or does 5 hours plus seem like an unreasonable time to tie up
my phone line so Microsoft can correct its errors in the XP system they sold?
Did microsoft in its corporate wisdom think to include a snail mail delivery
system, such as the old fashioned CDE ROM which hey could send me by snail
mail which would include Service Pack 2 undistorted by the phone line
glitches etc

I would like one very much. Can I order it somehow?

It's free.. Get a friend with a faster connection to burn it or order your
own Free CD.

Well it's a large download, 80-120 MB, so it will take a long time.
