First thing to try would be to clear the DNScache.
In a cmd prompt type in ipconfig /flushdns
Reboot and test.
A question. Can you contact your other pc's by computer name? Such as ping
pete ? (Used pete as a compter name...replace pete with an actual computer
name.
Also, try to ping the local computer by computer name to see if its local or
within the network scope.
