Loss of Freecell on upgrading to OE6

I confess not to have been upgrading my software since buying my pc some five
or six years ago, until recently after I went on to Broadband. I found that
there were 20 'critical' upgrades I needed, much to my horror. I downloaded
them all and the installation was successful. I am now on OE 6. All seems
well, except that I cannot use Freecell. I can get the initial display of
cards by clicking on 'new game', but the game is 'frozen' with the
'hourglass' showing all the time. I can only think that something has
happened in the upgrading. I also installed Norton Personl firewall, but the
loss of Freeserve is still apparent when I temporarily disable that. has
anyone any ideas as to how i can resolve this please? I have spent ages
searching the various help pages.
