I caused such a commotion because of my stupidity, byI explaining my
problem. I am so nervous and upset, I just can't think straight! I
humbly apologize!! Can I get a second chance?

Family gave me cash for my 81st birthday in August. I bought the
actual Windows VISTA OEM CD from an online vendor. When it arrived,
i opened it out of excitement and had hoped I could install it ASAP!

By the time I got around to it, I had the CD and NOTHING else. I have
NO CLUE as to what happened to the jewel case, the instruction,
pamphlet and the original Post Office packet it came in. My dog is
only 8 pounds so I know she'd leave some residue, somewhere.

ThanX for any help I can get to procure a Product Code. I'm following
some of the leads I already got from this venue.

May, many thanx for you patience

Mikie

Hi Mikie,

Call Microsoft - they may give you a new key.

They will probably ask for the product ID, which should be somewhere on
the box , which you don't have.

I presume you bought it by credit card - so your statement will have
all the details of the transaction - try to have as much information as
you can when you call.

Use a working pc to follow the instructions in the Activate Vista by
Phone tutorial - to get the toll free number - I believe it is automated
with option to speak to operator.

'Activate Vista by Phone'

Hope this helps

Hi,

No one here has the capacity to reissue a lost OEM product key. Replacing it
would be at the discretion of the OEM vendor that you obtained the disk
from. Few will likely be willing to help you, so unfortunately you are stuck
should this be the case.

Because you're overly suspicious?

Just an observation: A newb would do two threads, not a troll.

You can be sure of one thing. Michael Jackson likes little boys.

And you know this from a personal experience? News flash: Michael
Jackson was acquitted.

News flash: You're confusing being acquitted with being innocent.

You were there? If not, how would you know either way other than relying
on your bias and prejudice?
