Lost Encryption Key

My system recently crashed & I had to reinstall Vista. I had data files
in an encrypted folder (NTFS/EFS) on another partition.

Like a bonehead, I didn't store the keys somewhere.

Is there any way I can get to the files?

Help!!!!!

Well, no... Windows encryption is actually pretty strong.

In all probability, no. You can try asking the people at Elcomsoft. If they
can't help you, then consider this a sad and hard lesson about backing up
encryption keys.
