Lost Favourites

I have lost all my favourites from IE7 and it will not let me add any in.
Also my homepage has changed. Can anyone help please.

Did you change the location of your Favorites folder?

Thank Mark, Printed out info and reset IE back to default. Checked my
computer for anti virus protection etc. and it is all up to date. It is kept
uptodate by Microsoft (I think its them!) I still have no Favourites to
view and it will not save new ones. Completely blank list. Even if I've
lost all my old favourites I could rebuild if it would only let me save.

Don't even know how you do that - its completely empty and will not let me
add. I could rebuild but it won't let me. Where would I find the location
of the favourites folder ?

Click Start, type the following and press ENTER:

shell:favorites

This opens the favorites folder. Click the Address bar and note down the
Favorites folder path.
