Lost "Install" as action for *.INF

I mistakenly changed the default action for *.INF file to use "Notepad".

How could I reset the relevant registry and see the Install option back?

Hi,

Run regedit, go here:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\inffile\shell\Install\command

Double click the default string. Replace the contents with:

%SystemRoot%\System32\InfDefaultInstall.exe "%1"
