lost my administrator user account after update

Last night I installed the newest critical update for XP. When I restarted my
computer this morning, it loaded up into my daughters user account. When I
tried to change accounts, my administrator user account was gone, and the
only account left was my daughter's. When I opened hers up, I didn't have all
the stuff that I need from my desktop. I tried ctrl-alt-del when I restarted
my computer to try and show a hidden administrator account but that wouldn't
work either. Please help, I am going nuts trying to fix this!
