lost my D: disc

hi

i had two partitions on my toshiba laptop however now i have just one
C: could you help my howto restore my D: disc thanks

Then you probably nuked the partition with Partition Magic instead of
creating a new one. I trust you have back ups.

You mean that you USED some programs such as Partition Magic and then
your disc disappeared.

Apart from installing and running a partition manager?

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask what they can do for you. You
have, with the help of PM (presumably version 8), successfully erased the
part of your hard drive which would enable you to recover from any error
other than this one..

I had got two partitions, then wanted have more of them, so install some
program but wasnt work, install partition magic but version wasnt
compatible with win vista, tried to install paragon partition magic but
was just saying 'partition overlapped', so couldnt start this program
either. Have checked in DiSk management and these twom partitions have
been nseen there! so must be somewhere... tried to formatt it but didnt
work, tried to dedicate any letter to lost disk D but couldnt ? Only
disk C is avaiable Tried to make the other disk active but make the
biggest mess and had to reboot computer as got a fault BOOTMGR
missing... etc. Unfortunatelly have no got any recovery cd included to
this laptop! What do you think what could happend?

in system management log says that i am running in some virtual disk (i
dont know where it come from), few days ago i had got log about some
shadows of the disk c... really dont know what is happening..

As I suggested earlier, contact the manufacturer and ask them what they can
do for you.

Your actions after you originally messed up with Partition Magic have made
the situation even worse.

This is a far cry from the 'nothing' you claimed to have done in your first
reply to me..
