It depends on what firewall you have (if any). Windows Firewall (on SP2) has
an icon on Control Panel, and you can see if it's active. By default it will
allow ActiveSync. Others don't - Zone Alarm for example must be set to
Medium Level, and NIS might have rules that needed to be created.
