Lost My Pictures

I lost My pictures completely. How do I recover them? I have looked in
C:\Documents & Settings and can not find them. I am using Windows XP,
Servpack2.

Go to Start>Search>Pictures, music and video>Pictures and Photos. See if
they turn up.

> I tried that, nothing there. When you go to My Documents, the My Pictures is missing completely. Do I need to try to reload the My documents file from XP?

You could just create a new folder in MyDocuments and rename it
MyPictures.

Thanx, I will do that and just reload all the pictures from my backup CD. I
thought I could find them buried deep in XP, but I will try your way.
