Lost my Vista Start Button

Had a lockup and on reboot the classic start button and folders are there.
So did right click on Start and selected properties but the classic menu
wasnt selected. Anyway tried selecting both but the old Classic Icon and
style stays there. I have grown use to the Vista style and want to get it
back. Any suggestions ?

Well the properties didn't do it so after posting the message here I did a
right click on my desktop then personalization >windows colour and
appearance. There was the old style dialogue box showing the colour schemes
that were available and then just clicked on Aero. Now when you have Vista
Aero running that dialogue box doesn't automatically appear but there is a
link at the bottom that will open that.

Now why it doesnt revert in Start/properties I dont know
