I lost my windows password

recently i always login using fingerprint reader...now i forgt my
windows login password...how can i find or trace back my passoword in
windows...???:cry::cry:i use vista premium

Unless you have encrypted files, the default "Administrator" account can
change the password for any account. Boot to Safe Mode (F8 on restart,
during 'black screen' after the BIOS screen) the User Accounts app in
Control Panel lets you 'manage other accounts'.

hey,we can use some tools to help recover windows password rather than reinstalling or reinformatting the os.we all do not want to lose important data.i.e.i ever used "windows password unlocker4.0",feel well...

To reset Windows Vista password, there are several methods:
1. Login safe mode Mentioned above.
2. Use Vista password reset disk or repair CD, it is free!
3. Use a password recovery tool if you have no reset disk.
You can try Ophcrack or Windows Password Rescuer. They require booting from CD or USB flash drive.
