The OE specific Newsgroups should be able to assist you with this.

OE6-specific newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...outlookexpress
(OE client)
or
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/e...&lang=en&cr=US
(Web Client)

Mike,

Do a thorough SEARCH on your system, for "*.dbx" files ---the
message stores for Outlook Express.
Files like "inbox.dbx" , "outbox.dbx" , "folders.dbx" .

Windows XP stores O E messages at a (fearsome) location like
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-LOGIN-NAME\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\...\Microsoft\Outlook Express

The documents location in the older Windows operating system were elsewhere.

Also see O E newsgroup at
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlooke xpress

Thanks. I did that search of the whole disk and they are gone. I'll check
the OE specific groups for further info. My baddy for not backing them up
first.
