Lost Recycle Bin?

Can anyone advise as to how or why my recycle bin has gone in Vista?

More to the point....how do I get it back?

Right-click a bland area of the Desktop. Choose Properties from the
Context menu. Click Change Desktop Icons in the Task pane on the
left. Ensure that Recycle Bin checkbox is ticked in the Desktop
section of the Desktop Icons Settings window. That should return your
Recycle Bin to the Desktop.
