I fixed and defraged the heck out of my Presario Desktop and the install
went like a breeze. Then I found that if I "right clicked" on a Desktop
Icon or a Start folder Icon my systen would crash after a short wait.
Folders on the Desktop worked OK. So if you have the same problem and until
Mr Gates & Co figure it all out, you can move your desktop items around by
dragging them to a folder.

I have the same problem. SP2 install went ok. Everything worked fine until I
draged a copy of the "Windows Media Player" shortcut icon from the desktop to
the Quick Launch bar. Now I can't right click on half of the desktop icons or
right click on a file in the Windows Explorer. If I do, the explorer will
crash and restart. Can't delete the the Windows Media Player icon from the
quick launch bar since that requires a right click too.
Now, what do i do???
