Lost sound, please please help

i was cleaning up my pc today and was gettin rid of a lot of things i dont
use, and i accidently deleted my sound driver i think (?)

it was in the remove programs section anyway

was called 'A audio 97' or something along those lines but im probably way
out.

Im in XP pro, this has really distressed me as i need sound for the work
that i do.

Any help or download link would be great, i know its probably not hard to fix.

The installation CD that came with your computer will have the sound driver.
Always a good idea to have a look for newer drivers on the manufacturer's
site, too.
