asked him to pass all my files to an external hard disk and he did.
connect the external with my new laptop but there only drives c and e,
can' t find Documents, or Music or Videos etc. The files exist but ther
are empty, nothing inside. It doesnt say "access denied" or anything
just empty. And the old laptop doesnt open at all! Is there anything
can do? Thank you in advance and excuse me for my english, i m fro

Most recent laptops use removable hard drives. Possibly you can buy
an external USB drive enclosure that you can plug the HD from your old
laptop into and then you should be able to read teh files on it.
Another option would be to find someone with the same, or maybe
similar model, laptop and put your old drive in their laptop and see
if it boots.
