Lot of problems with new computer and vista

I recently just built a brand new computer and i have been experiencin
many problems when i install vista... and now when i try to format m
drive and reinstall it again. First when i installed it, everything wa
going fine and everything work and the install was perfect but the nex
dy when i turn my computer on i got n error like winload or something i
missing, and this reinstalling and error after i install all my driver
and such happened about 4 times. later i tried using a different dis
entirley to install vista and ended up with DLL problems or a proble
with some wierd prompt that opens up and talks about GRUB as well a
trying to check or the vista loader and for some reason a XP/NT/200
loader... i had two HDDs in, one with linux(that i later formated wit
vista) so i ended up taking it out trying to mess around and atemptin
to work this computer. Still no cigar. now that i have been messin
around some more i find that i can no longer format my drive nor instal
vista and i get and error message of (Failed to format the selecte
partition [Error: 0x90070057]. and a similar error when i try t
install

this is my first built computer although i do have omputer experience
i am not sure what to do perhaps i can find some help, very expensive t
build this guy and would be shame if it didnt work all together

Hi,

Sounds like either the drive is damaged, or there is a hardware problem with
the connectors. Run a drive diagnostic from the manufacturer (generally
these are free to download and run from a bootable disk). You may find that
it is not functioning properly. If it is working, then most of these
utilities also provide for a drive format as well.
