lots of internet problems

for some reason all the links to websites on my computer other than the ones
in my favorites don't work. For example the ones in my help and support
section area do nothing. I had a recommended hotfix in my problem reports
and solutions section that gave me a message "website not found" or something
like that. There are websites or pages of websites that I can't get to
because I either get a message "404 not found" or a screen with all kinds of
stuff on it that makes no sense whatsoever and may say "multiple errors on
page". verizon is my isp and my computer won't go to the verizon arcade and
I've been having a tough time sending e-mail but I can receive it. I have no
idea if these problems are related or more than one problem.

Sounds like your connection to a DNS server is down - that can cause many
problems. You might call Verizon and ask them for help setting up the
connection again.
