Has anyone tried this software. I am able to link up with Outlook
successfully but I am not transferring the data from Outlook 2002 to
my device - Cingular 8125 - . I am wondering if I am having a version
compatibility problem as this software was not designed for WM 5.0.

Error message is very generic - just relink and try again.
Interestingly I'm not synching contacts but my contact list disappears
from the handheld after the error until I reset.

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Fred

Hi,
Did you install Outlook then the Lotus Notes Outlook Connector then
ActiveSync 4.1?

Chris - actually no. I installed ActiveSync then Outlook, then
Outlook Connector - do you suggest I start over? I have read
elsewhere about some issues with the partnership between the device
and laptop when removing ActiveSync and then reinstalling and
relinking to the device.

Thanks,
Fred

Hi,
ActiveSync adjusts to the version of Outlook that was installed at the time
it was installed. I would suggest reinstalling ActiveSync and then try it.

Chris,

Thanks for the help. I reinstalled ActiveSync and after a day when
our domino servers were down was finally able to test again. Error
message this time is -

Cannot synchronize with the Outlook profile you are using because a
different profiles was previously setup or the file is password
protected. Please open Outlook using the appropriate profile.

This was a clean install of Outlook 2002 and only has one profile so
not sure what the next step might be.

Thanks,
Fred

Hi,
In the Control Panel, launch the Mail icon. Then select the default Outlook
profile. Then try to sync.
