Low Disk Space on Recovery

Recently moved data from old XP PC via transfer cable to new VISTA Home
Premium PC. Get a message daily: "Low Disk Space on Recovery.
Drive C shows 189 GB free of 226 GB
Drive E shows 232 GB free of 232 GB
Drive D (Recovery) shows 28.6 MB free of 6.27 GB

Don't know what to do. Should I increase size of Recovery Disk? If so,
how? Should I delete some files from Recovery Disk? How?

Your D (Recovery) drive is a partition created by your computer manufacturer to
enable you to recover your system to a factory shipped condition. It should not
be used for anything. Were you given the option of making Recovery DVDs? If
you made Recovery DVDs you can delete it and expand your C:\ drive to take up
the space. If you just do not want the low space warning you can go to Control
Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management and delete
the D drive letter. This will not harm the data on the drive. To access it
again you can reassign the drive letter.

Thanks for the reply. I can now handle it.

I went to control panel>administrative tools>disk management, then at the far
right I clicked on more actions>all tasks>format, this removes all data from
recovery D.
