I have found multiple files in my temp directory referring to lpksetup. it
seems to run every time i boot. I bought an english speaking machine and
don't need anything trying to change my language. Also why run a program
that isn't needed. The way I found this was there are a whole bunch of txt
files in my temp dir with a naming convention containing lpksetup. When
looking in these files I see a line that says it tried to remove itself but
failed thus I end up with numerous temp files that don't need to be there.
How do I find out why the prog is running and how to stop it.

Upon further research I found a task that runs something called LPREMOVE.
Googleing this I found an article containing

Usage:lpremove.exe [/c]
Running without parameters will create a scheduled task (if running first
time)
and exit.
All subsequent runs without /c switch will result in starting lpksetup.exe
which
will perform a cleanup task for language packs./c - lpremove will delete its
sc
heduled task and exit.

The first time this task ran was about the first time I booted my machine
(its new). and has been running at each boot eversince. Maybe one of the
Windows gurus can give us an explanation of why this runs every boot. Can
this task be stopped?? Is it possible the '/c' wasn't included?
