M-soft office xp pro and vista 32 prem

Hi everyone i have read the post's on this and still have not got a clue.
I have office xp pro i think (one of the files is MSDE2000 when you click
explore.)
can some one please tell me if this cd wiil work with vista premuim 32 bit?
Please keep it simple.

Yes, but make sure to add the service packs immediately after installing it.

Windows Update is for Windows. You can update MS Office via either Office
Update or Microsoft Update (which will do both Windows and Office).
