Just so you know, I have the same problem in Vista (and the same thing on a XP machine) with
the Microsoft MN-500.
Occasionally after a reboot it will miraculously discover it's a UPnP-router but otherwise
it's the same thing. However, it still does seem to forward the ports.
This "problem" started in Vista RC2. I've done all sorts of things to try and get it to
display properly and haven't had much luck personally.
