Hi some of my music files will not play in Windows Media Player a box says
it cannot find or play the m4a file, what do i need to do to be able to play
these files ?

What version of WMP and Windows?

WMP 12 on Windows 7 has built-in support for M4A. Older versions require
the installation of the following packages:
- FFDShow: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDshow.htm
- Haali's Media Splitter (also known as MatroskaSplitter):
http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv
