I tried a hand controller in my computer a week or so ago and various things
failed to work afterwards. I think i've sorted most of it out but i cannot
get the above two to work and cannot download others as it tells me they are
already installed on my computer. How do i get them to function again.

This sounds like a Macromedia problem to me.. But..

Have you tried using the standalone installers and reinstalling?

Hi Shenan,
Followed your instructions and it appears to be working
