magentic screensavers

My screensavers will not come on automatically anymore, i have been using
magentic for ever and all of a sudden they just stopped working, also my cd
drive will not recognise any cd anymore. can some one help.

Re screensavers, have you recently connected an MS wireless mouse or desktop
set?

Go to Windows Update and look for the optional hardware 'HID' patch..
