Magnifier auto starts and doesn't want to be disabled

When my PC boots the screen magnifier starts. I have looked for an entry in
msconfig to disable the auto start but can't find one. Does anyone know how
to stop this?

It's possible that the keyboard shortcut was inadvertently used to activate
the magnifier.
