I know who my ISP is, I know my user name and password but I still cannot get
windows mail configured to send an email. My ISP say's there is no problem on
thier end. What else can I do to resolve this problem.

Post your error message(s) - copy and paste. Also, tell us who is your
email provider (the part after the @ symbol. Maybe with more details we can
help . . . . .

I see you are connecting via Windstream.net, is that your ISP?
If so, follow their instructions:
